I placed an order of 100 family Christmas cards that unfortunately did not go well. The cards were doubled-sided and on the back side the pictures looked great - exactly how the proofs appeared.
On the front it was washed out and our family of five looked like ghosts - not at all like the proof. They were bad enough that I simply couldn't send them out. I called and spoke to someone in Customer Service who politely indicated they couldn't make any decisions, and that my issue would be sent to Quality Control for their review. Shortly thereafter and despite no further conversation, I received an email letting me know that the problem was within their allowable margin of error.
They went on to offer me a meager $5 discount on a reorder. I didn't find this to be an acceptable compromise to remedy the situation so I called back, again blocked by Customer Service, who insisted they didn't have any decision making power. This power rested in Quality Control - a team which I was not allowed to actually speak to. Finally and after a considerable amount of pushing, I got looped through to a Supervisor after being told they had all left for the day.
Having spoken to five different people and respectfully stating my case, I was told that they were unwilling to compromise further.
Each year I order cards and I've never had an issue. I thought I'd try GotPrint this time round and wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews.

Cant save my design nor preview
Unable to save my design and constantly have to refresh the online page to attempt to save 1 file than the site freezes until i refresh again,and than start back over again. the Image disappears every time.
Been working on it all night to find out that i have to put out more work than i have to. Good Bye Gotprint, lost my hopes for trying the new 3 layer product. why in the *** would i put in 100+ words to get this noticed? even though it is saying it here.
Is it because people cant think of 100 words or is this something that you guys dont want to deal with. since it requires 100+ words to submit.

Been burned so many times I AM DONE
I own a brick and mortar printing company and when we get too far behind, or there is a service we don't offer we USED to off source to GotPrint. The price is good but the success rate is so low that I can't in good conscience use or recommend them any more.
First tickets. Every year during one month we would get a large number of orders for tickets and as I'm sure most of you know this is a time consuming process that is very specialized and requires a certain skill set. It was simply cheaper to use GotPrint...until it wasn't. Every year they would refuse to print the tickets for the same reason, I picked "vertical" but the image was horizontal. I did this so that the ticket numbering was in the spot that the customer wanted and every year so many emails and phone calls to this *** company just to say "don't worry about that JUST PRINT THE TICKETS" and every year I would lose at least one customer because of this *** often it would take them 30 days to ship the *** order.
On another order I used them for postcard invites because my customer did not want to pay what I asked so I subbed it out to GotPrint and had the order drop shipped directly to the customer. When that order arrived the photo on the front of the postcard had a large grey line through it. My customer was not happy. It took several days of phone calls to a call center somewhere outside the USA with someone who barely spoke English to resolve this - all the while I was accused of uploading the image with the grey line through it and they wouldn't be able to refund the purchase. After much fighting I finally got the purchase refunded, no apology.
On another occasion I wanted a custom quote, I was bidding on booklet production for a professional sports team and I needed a few of the first games of the season printed by them until I could get my production team and equipment up and running to spec. I needed several sets of twenty thousand (20,000) booklets. I would need them produced in a certain time frame and delivered after I sent them the image files. This would have been a hugely profitable job for both my company and theirs. You know what they told me? We only do booklets in certain increments and 20,000 isn't one of them, you would need to do 18,000 or 24,000. I asked this kid if he was certain he wanted to make this decision - it was a big money order - and he confidently stated that they would be unable to do the booklets unless I conformed to their arbitrary quantities. Did I mention that each job would be hundreds of thousands of dollars in their pocket?
The last straw just happened, I am busy doing event flyers and the overflow thing happened again and I sent over four or five orders of flyers and such. Got Print simply marked the files as "needed re-upload" due to low resolution (the files needed to be 350 dpi, which they all were) and one image "looked blurry" (it was an "old timey" photo and that is the way it is supposed to look) and finally "your image is too close to the bleed line" (the image was edge to edge of course it was close to the *** bleed line!). They never contacted me directly despite examining the flyers so closely and seeing the date needed was the upcoming weekend, I got so mad I threw my desk across my office. I had to tell all of those customers that I would now not have time to finish those orders. I AM OFFICIALLY DONE WITH THIS *** COMPANY.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS
So, I've used GotPrint before for my business cards and they looked good. Moved to another Dealership and placed another order for myself and half the staff and they came in completely wrong color-wise. So I had a blue back ground on the card to go with the theme we wanted at the dealership but when I received them in the mail they're plumb purple. I called tried to work it out with the Company but want they tried to screw you over until you tell them your going to file claim with bank and dispute the charges. (I have all emails and proof of back and forth with them) Their Corp Office calls me and says its my fault they printed purple and they only do a 80% color match SO WATCH OUT WHAT YOU ORDER. He then told me he would speak to the Owners and see what they would like to do. 10 mins later I get an email telling me to send all the cards back and they would refund me but I have to pay shipping and handling to send them back. After that I thought I would give another chance order my with another color for the background; only to find out they Disable my account and I can no longer order cards. SO THAT IS HOW THEY RUN THEIR BUSINESS SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR ORDER BEFORE HAND.

My order took longer than expected to print. I upgraded to next day air to get it on the last day possible for me to use the product.
They told me it shipped. Apparently they couldn't charge the upgrade fee to my card, so instead of calling to clear it up they DID NOT SHIP and sent an email. I still ended up having to pay the fee and my order will be useless.
THEY HAD A RECORD OF MULTIPLE CALLS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF thIS ORDER BUT TOOK NO CARE TO GET IT RIGHT. Do not use this company under any circumstances.
